ULTRAFILTER (UF) PYROGEN FILTER SYSTEMS
The Nelson Water Systems For Hemodialysis Ultrafilter (UF) is a complete system to be used to feed the hemodialysis facility water loop after the water treatment equipment to ensure an economical, highly effective filtration of endotoxins and bacteria.
The Nelson Water Systems For Hemodialysis ultrafilter includes:
- From two to four 4” by 40” high-flow ultrafiltration membranes;
- Adjustable drain flow controller;
- Product water and drain flow meters;
- Rugged inlet, outlet, and bypass ball valves.

Operating Parameters
The incoming water must be the permeate from a reverse osmosis machine or carbon-filtered, fowling–free DI water. The operating parameters are:
- Typical operating pressure: 50 – 100 psig.
- Maximum operating pressure: 100 psig.
- Maximum temperature: 122°F (50°C).
- Recommended pH: Operating range 2.0 – 11.0, cleaning ranges 2.0 – 11.5.
- Chlorine tolerance: 5,000+ ppm-days.
