NELSON RETAIN™ 4

The Nelson RETAIN™ 4 is a 4-channel remote event trigger device providing instant e-mail/SMS notification. It is designed to notify the user when input has changed with a user-defined e-mail message.

It includes:

  1. Four relay dry contact inputs;
  2. Push button for manual test (Input 1);
  3. Enclosure fan for ventilation;
  4. Battery back-up;
  5. 1-meter long eight-wire cable connector.

System Features

  1. Four relay dry contact input ports via an 8-screw terminal block connector;
  2. Notifies user when a channel input changes status (from closed to open and from open to closed) with a user-defined e-mail message for each channel input’s change of state;
  3. Some cell phone providers such as Verizon and AT&T convert e-mail to SMS/MMS;
  4. Easy initial set-up with PC using only Wi-Fi connection (no other software nor physical connection necessary).
  5. The whole device is housed in a non-metallic 10″ x 7″ x4″ NEMA 4 enclosure.
  6. Low voltage (24V) with wall outlet transformer.
  7. E-mail generator easily detached for maintenance or remote programming.
