Nelson Environmental Technologies, Inc. maintains 24-hour, 365-days-a-year emergency service for its customers. Servicemen can be reached by pagers and cell phones at any time. These service numbers are provided by recorded message on phone lines during off-business hours.

Hurricane Preparedness and Disaster Recovery Programs

Nelson has a hurricane preparedness program for all of its facilities. This program is also suitable for other disaster. The Disaster Recovery Program is in place, ready to put into action as soon as the disaster is over. The goals of these programs are:

  1. To minimize the disruption of service caused by the hurricane or other disaster;
  2. To enable nelson to operate as quickly as possible after the disaster in order to better be able to attend its customers’ needs during the period immediately after the disaster.

Nelson Environmental Technologies, Inc. (NETI) provides a broad range of water treatment systems for industry.  These systems are used to remove or control pH, colloidal material, disinfectants, minerals, organics, dissolved solids, bacteria and sediment from influent water.  This is accomplished by such technologies as filtration by cartridges, multimedia beds, other media beds, softeners, deionization, ozone, ultraviolet disinfections and membranes.

NETI provides supplies, components, and service, as well as designing, building and installing system upgrades and complete new systems.  NETI also provides monthly inspections and service contracts for its customers.  A written report advises customers of any problems that may be starting with their systems.  Most customers find this a valuable service as it helps identify minor problems before they become major ones.

Nelson Environmental Technologies, Inc. provides portable exchange Deionization tanks for both the industrial and medical markets.  The industrial tanks are used only for pre-process water purification. No portable exchange tanks may be used for wastewater treatment.  The portable exchange tanks are identified with indelible markings as to whether they are used for industry only or medical use only.  No medical use tank has ever been used for any other application other than medical.

PE tank sizes are available in 1.2 ft3, 2.4 ft3, and 3.6 ft3.

Nelson Environmental Technologies, Inc.’s tanks have the following features to ensure the highest quality, safest tanks possible.

  • All regenerated tanks have shrink-wrap seals to show that they have not been opened from the time of regeneration to the time of use.
  • Every movement of every PE DI tank is documented in logs to leave a paper trail of the history of each tank.
  • All tanks have one male and one female connector to ensure that they cannot be connected backwards into the systems.

In this manner, customers can be assured of the original quality of the tank.
